Notes: Verified with Flora Europaea vol. 1 ed 2. Leaves opposite, decussate, glabrous or with few branched hairs on margin an veins. Stipules leaf like longer than the petioles. Flowers in a raceme. Flowers long pedicillate. Corolla yellow, petals emmarginate to 15mm long. Style long and thin. Sepals 5, 3 inner very broad with conspicuous reddish ribs, outer very small and narrow. Sepals stellate hairy between the ribs.
