Notes:Verified with the European Garden Flora vol 5. Shrubby plant covered in stellate hairs. Leaves grey-green and feletd. 5 cm across. Petals pink with red veins on the claw. Petal apex slightly notched. Epicalyx segments 3, linear. Fruit a schizocarp of 12-15 mericarps. Staminal column with many stamens and without teeth at the apex. 'Hyde Hall' is listed in the RHS database but no origin is cited. Possibly an open field pollination obtention between several species of Sphaeralcea.
