Helleborus lividus Curtis

Verified by: Temperate sect. 4 April 2013
Notes: Verified with the European Garden Flora and and Matthew, B. 'Hellebores'. Leaves only cauline, none at the base. leaves trifoliolate, lateral one asymetrical and shallowly dentate but not spinose. Inflorescence many flowered. Flowers green purplish. Carpels 5 and fused at base. Wild source information would be important to get as there are many hybrids in cultivation also this is fvery close to H. argutifolius from Corsica.
