Notes:Verified with Flora of China online draft and Rehder, A.'Synopis of the Genus Lonicera', Annual Report, Missouri Botanical Garden. 14. 1903. Sect. Coeloxylosteum, Subsect. Tataricae. Erect shrub, branches with hollow pith. Winter buds small with ca. 4 pairs of glabrous scales. Leaves opposite, ovate, longer than 2 cm, apex acute to obtuse, margin ciliate. Peduncles longer than 2 cm, axillary, flowers paired. Bracts linear-lanceolate or leaflike. Bracteoles and ovaries separate, up to 1/2 as long as calyx tube. Calyx glabrous and distinctly toothed. Corolla white, bilabiate, shorter than lobes. Stamens and styles shorter than corolla, styles hairy.
