Notes:Verified with Flora of China online (DRAFT) and Reyder, A. 'Synopsis of the Genus Lonicera' in Annual Reports of the Missouri Botanical Garden 14 (1903). Hardy, deciduous climbing shrub. Flowers white (sometimes tinged pink) ageing to yellow, strongly fragrant. Flowers in pairs at the apex of peduncle. Corolla tube not spurred. Corolla lobes almost as long as the tube. Calyx tube glabrous. Bracts leaf-like, 2-3cm long. Plant pubescent, including young branches, leaves glabrous abaxially except on the veins. Section Nintooa, subsection Longiflorae.
