Notes: Verified with Venter, H.J.T. 'A taxonomic revision of Raphionacme (Apocynaceae: Periplocoideae)' South African Journal of Botany Vol.75, Issue 2, April 2009. Plant caudiciform with annual shoots. Leaves simple, entire and pubescent. Sepals green, petals yellowih-green. Corona lobed apically purplish. Anthers not fused to the style but fused together. Pollen in granular tetrads transferred by spoon shaped translator arm ending in a sticky disc.
