Notes: Verified with Stace, C. 1997 'New Flora of the British Isles'. Leaves abaxially hairy. Petiole ciliate with hairs less than 0.9mm long. Stipules lanceolate. Flowers white, scented. Sepals obtuse at apex. Ovary hairy and stigmas hooked at apex. This is a white form of this widely cultivated species.
