Gazetteer:Off provincial road 230 at Gang dang, Bai hua ling, Han long zhai (village) (at the end of Z003 county road). Circular walk to Pu bu (waterfall).
Coordinates: 25.3095 N, 98.7912 E  Alt: 1579m 

0.5 m tall herb. Stems pink. Male flowers: tepals white, anthers yellow. Female flowers: ovary 3-winged; one wing longer than others; with minute red dots on the ovary and sepals; placentation bilamellate.
N facing steep, rocky slope, shady and humid.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online www.efloras.org. Section Platycentrum. Ovaries bi-locular with bi-lamellate placentas. Tepals of female flower 5, unequal. Ovary with one large wing. Male flowers with 4 tepals. Stamens numerous. Anthers with an apiculate appendage.
