Yunnan 2010 Caprifoliaceae for the Flora of China

Region:Yunnan; Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Pref.; Fugong xian
Gazetteer:Gaoligong Shan. On road towards Myanmar border from Nianma luoqu (18 km from Lu ma deng, across the concrete bridge, above the military station).
Coordinates: 27.1787 N, 98.7336 E  Alt: 2972m 

Shrub 1 m tall, spreading to 1 m. Stems orange. Petals 5, white, pink tinged and imbricate in bud. Nectary disk purple-brown. Outer whorl of filaments 2-toothed, anthers terminal. Inner whorl of filaments with anthers inserted in the middle. Anthers purple-black.
Rocky slope, 45 with Polygonum, Hypericum, Deutzia, Helichrysum, Salix and Rubus.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online Leaf blade abaxially with hairs of 2 types (minute and larger ones). However, in this specimen the teeth of outer filaments are longer than anther stalks (c.f. key).
