Gazetteer:Gaoligong Shan. On road towards Myanmar border from Nianma luoqu (18 km from Lu ma deng, across the concrete bridge, above the military station).
Coordinates: 27.1788 N, 98.7303 E  Alt: 2998m 

Herb 70 cm tall. Stems purple. Flowers purple and white. Corolla split to base, ciliate along midveins, upper 2 lobes purple, ascending and narrow, lower lobes purple with white markings, spreading. Anther tube blue-grey, white pubescent with a tuft of white hairs at apex of lower anthers.
Damp ground 1 m from stream edge, growing with Carex, Juncus and Fargesia.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online www.efloras.org. Flowers resupinate, corolla zygomorphic; stamens connate, forming an asymmetric tube; staminal column free from corolla; locules and stigmas 2.
