Climber 4 m tall. Flowers salmon-pink. Standard with dark orange-pink stripes and 2 central linear yellow markings. Staminal tube white. Fruit 10 cm long, narrow burgundy-green.
Pinus yunnanensis forest edge. Open area with Cornus, Actinidia and Decaisnea.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online www.efloras.org. Tribe Phaseoleae. Style coiled. Stamens uniform, diadelphous, 9 fused + 1.
