Region:Yunnan; Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture; Yunlong xian
Gazetteer:Bi Jiang river valley. Along provincial road 227 from Yunlong to Lanping.
Coordinates: 25.8747 N, 99.2864 E  Alt: 1620m 

Herb 30-40 cm tall. Flowers unpleasant scented. Inflorescence green. Spadix attenuate (not stipitate), horizontal.
Small stream gorge. NE-facing rocky slope 45. Disturbed area with many introduced weeds. Growing with Zinnia, Ipomoea, Viburnum, Artemisia, Datura, Dalbergia, Oleaceae.

Identification Notes:Verified with 'The genus Arisaema' by G. & L. Gusman (2006), sect. Attenuata. Also verified with Flora of China online, sect. Tortuosa. Underground stems white inside when dry.
