Coordinates: 26.4201 N, 99.2763 E  Alt: 3152m 

Prostrate herb. Flowers purple with darker veins. Stems, pedicels and calyces tinged purple.
Alpine pasture grazed by livestock. Growing with Potentilla, Polygonum, Pedicularis.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online Appressed short black hairs on calyx. Style with tuft of hairs below stigma. Stamens 9 fused + 1 free. Ovary glabrous. Phyllolobium was formerly a section of Astragalus.
