Gazetteer:Lanping Nature Reserve, Fu he. Mi Le Ba village.
Coordinates: 26.4201 N, 99.2763 E  Alt: 3152m 

Upright shrub to 4 m tall. In fruit, fruits black. 2-6 seeds per fruit. Stems solid. Winter buds 4-angular.
Alpine pasture grazed by livestock. Growing with along stream bank with Picea, Prunus, Berberis and abundant lichens.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online Leaves adaxially with minute pale glands, hairy on midvein.
