Herb 30 cm tall. Petals pale pink with one long petal and 4 short. Stamens 10. Anthers red. Filaments white. Ovary yellow becoming reddish-green in fruit.
E-facing slope 45, near river in a clearing in mixed forest with Abies, Quercus, Lonicera, Thalictrum, ferns and mosses.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online www.efloras.org. Sect. Irregulares. Flowering stem and inflorescence reddish long glandular villous. Petals 3-veined, longest petal entire at margin.
