Herb 1 m tall. Flowers pale yellow, galea with white or dark purple hairs on the margin. Inflorescence axis dark purple-brown.
Rocky, SW-facing bank, 30 slope. With Quercus, Rhododendron, Morina, Cotoneaster, Potentilla.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online Ser. Craspedotrichae. Leaves alternate. Galea navicular, beaked, bent downwards, margins long ciliate. Filaments 2 glabrous and 2 pubescent. Calyx glabrous.
