Coordinates: 28.7561 N, 100.2719 E  Alt: 3901m 

Herb 30 cm tall. Flowers pink. Calyx and peducles often pink-tinged.
Rocky, SW-facing bank. With Quercus, Rhododendron, Morina, Cotoneaster, Potentilla. Growing in flat, grassy areas.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online, Basal leaves entire and caudex covered with fibrous remains of old leaves. Stamens 4, filaments hairy at base. Calyx 5 lobed, sepals serrate. Fruit 3 locular with one larger locule.
