Gazetteer:Walk from the Kunming Institute of Botany, field station to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Coordinates: 27.0219░ N, 100.1754░ E  Alt: 3876m 

Herb with scape 10-20 cm tall. Ligulate florets yellow with brown stigmas. Tubular florets with yellow corolla, dark brown anther tube and stigmas. Hairs on scape and phyllaries dark purple-brown.
Rhododendron heath with Allium, Campanula and Pedicularis.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online Tribe SENECIONEAE, Subtrib. TUSSILAGININAE. Leaves glabrous, margin entire. Stem short black pilose. Ligules acuminate, more than twice as long as the phyllaries. Phyllaries in two series, inner phyllaries broadly ovate, outer lanceolate.
