Region:Yunnan; Li Jiang Shi Prefecture; Yulongxueshan
Gazetteer:Walk from the Kunming Institute of Botany, field station to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Coordinates: 27.0358 N, 100.1770 E  Alt: 3970m 

Herb 15 cm tall with a fascicle of small tubers. Flowers royal blue, lower petal with white and purple central stripe. Stems, leaves, bracts and pedicels purple tinged. Anthers yellow. Nectary 1/3 as long as spur.
SW-facing slope, 45. Rocky scree with Potentilla, Lonicera, Ribes and Helichrysum.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online Section Appendiculatae. Lower petal with a minute peg-like spurlet 0.2 mm wide.
