Gazetteer:Near Ke du zhen (town). 104 km on 171 county road from Kunming to Jiao Zi shan (mountain).
Coordinates: 25.5741 N, 102.8452 E  Alt: 2194m 

Spindly shrub 2.5 m tall. Bark smooth and peeling. Flowers white.
Rocky SW-facing slope in limestone hills. With Quercus, Abelia uniflora, Berberis, Cotoneaster, Ficus ti-koua and Scutellaria. Vegetation height to 2m tall.

Identification Notes:Verified with Flora of China online Petals fused. Persistent calyx withered. Filaments with 2 spurs near apex. Ovary pubescent.
